1 Kings 17: 2-6 Elijah Fed by Ravens

1 Kings 17: 2 - 6  Elijah Fed by Ravens
Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah: "Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan.  You will drink from the brook, and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there."  So he did what the Lord had told him.  He went to the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan and stayed there.  The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook.  (NIV)

1Kings16:29-33 Ahab Becomes King of Israel

1KINGS 16:29-33
29 In the thirty-eighth year of Asa king of Judah, Ahab son of Omri became king of Israel, and he reigned in Samaria over Israel twenty-two years. 30 Ahab son of Omri did more evil in the eyes of the Lord than any of those before him. 31 He not only considered it trivial to commit the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, but he also married Jezebel daughter of Ethbaal king of the Sidonians, and began to serve Baal and worship him. 32 He set up an altar for Baal in the temple of Baal that he built in Samaria. 33 Ahab also made an Asherah pole and did more to arouse the anger of the Lord, the God of Israel, than did all the kings of Israel before him.(NIV)

Joshua 10:38-39

For now... Back to the Old Testament with the book of Joshua... :)

"Then Joshua and all Israel with him turned around and attacked Debir.
They took the city, its king and its villages, and put them to the sword. Everyone in it they totally destroyed. They left no survivors.  They did to Debir and its king as they had done to Libnah and its king and to Hebron."(NIV)

Judas Agrees To Betray Jesus

Matthew 26: 14- 16
"Then one of the Twelve- The one called Judas Iscariot- went to the chief priests and asked,
"What are you willing to give me if i deliver him over to you?" So they counted out for him THIRTY PIECES OF SILVER.   From then on, Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over."
